Douglas Pfeffer
Doug Pfeffer partnered with his father Chuck Pfeffer at the Pfeffer Insurance Agency in 1977. He is a graduate of Edinboro University (Class of 1977). Doug is semi-retired passing the day-to-day operations to his partners Alan Hilling and Michael Langer. Doug’s son Kyle is now managing his accounts.
Michael Langer
Mike started at Hilling-Pfeffer Insurance Agency in 1998 and has been in the industry since 1989. Specializes in financial services, estate and retirement analysis, and employee benefits. Member of Estate Planning Council of Erie and MDRT. Attended Gannon University through 1976.
Chris Hilling
Started with the Hilling-Pfeffer Insurance Agency as a customer service intern in 2010 and became an agent in 2011. He is a graduate of Saint Vincent College (class of 2011) in Latrobe, PA. Chris holds a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation and specializes in personal and commercial insurance, including life insurance.
Rod Fucci
Was born and raised in northwest Pennsylvania. He is a 1988 graduate of Edinboro University with a BS degree in business administration. He has been working in the insurance industry since 1991 for both the company and agency. He holds two insurance designations which include certified insurance counselor and associate in underwriting.
Kyle Pfeffer
Kyle graduated from Harbor Creek High School in 2007, and then from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College in 2011, with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He started with Hilling-Pfeffer Insurance Agency in 2015.
Patrick Hilling
Started with the Hilling-Pfeffer Insurance agency in May of 2017. He is a graduate of Penn State University (class of 2017.) Patrick is licensed to sell Auto, Home, Business, and Life Insurance products.

Graduated from Mercyhurst High School in 1985. She is a graduate of Mercyhurst University (BA 1989) and University of Pittsburgh (MA 1992). Karen has been with the agency since 1995.

Tammy-Jo Surgener
Started with Hilling-Pfeffer Insurance agency in May 1997. She is a Seneca High School graduate, (class of 1986.)

Emily started working for the Hilling-Pfeffer Insurance Agency in 2020. She is an experienced advocate for clients, working in this capacity for six plus years. She is a 2012 graduate from General McLane High School.
Kayla Daley
Kayla started at Hilling-Pfeffer Insurance Agency in 2020. She graduated from Meadville Area Senior High in 2014, and is a 2020 graduate from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.)

Joan Kowalewski
Joan began her career at the Hilling-Pfeffer Agency in 1995 as a licensed customer service representative. She has since shifted her role at the agency to that of bookkeeper.
